4th Annual International Symposium on Magnetic Gastro-Intestinal & Colon Surgery

Two days of live surgery, results, and the techniques redefining how an anastomosis is made, without a cut.

The invitation

A field of study, held in one room.

Magnets are doing what sutures and staples have done for a century – only without a cut. The 4th Annual International Symposium on Magnetic Gastro-Intestinal & Colon Surgery gathers the surgeons mapping that shift, from first-in-human technique to multi-year results.

The meeting returns under the direction of Dr. Michel Gagner, bringing leading surgeons and innovators from four continents to Montréal. Live operations are broadcast from Westmount Square Surgical Center and partner centres worldwide, threaded together with the data behind them.

It is, deliberately, more than a clinical gathering – a chance to stand inside surgical innovation while the city outside makes its own case for staying a few days longer.
